Heklucht on the pavement in front of a house in Ypenburg

Heklucht  is a combination of a bike stand and tire pump and is originally developed for an art project in Ypenburg, a newly built monofunctional Dutch residential area. With the goal of facilitating neighbourhood interaction and making life easier for cyclists, the polished stainless-steel fences were placed in front of thirty five Ypenburg houses, exactly on the border between the privately owned and public space.
