Arboretum of melliferous trees

Field workplace for beekeepers around melliferous trees

The bee has an important function on De Maashorst; without pollination the desired biodiversity would be very hard to realise. A variety of melliferous trees has been planted at the starting points of four paths from where the bees hive off in search of nectar and pollen. The beekeepers have their own field workplace around this arboretum and visitors will find information here about the bees and the trees.
